How do you roll the perfect joint? As experienced cannabis enthusiasts with almost 10 years Experience in rolling on a daily basis, we share our expertise here so that you too can enjoy the ideal joint. A good joint usually consists of a mixture of cannabis and tobacco - the right ratio and technique make all the difference!
Grind the cannabis using a grinder. If you don't have a grinder, you can also use scissors or a knife.
Many prefer a mixture of cannabis and tobacco, which ensures even burning.
What mixing ratio is ideal?
Here are common mixing ratios:
Tip: A activated carbon filter filters out harmful substances and is particularly useful as an additive to tobacco.
Place the ground cannabis-tobacco mixture evenly on the paper. Make sure that the amount is according to your preference, but not too much at once to make the rolling easier.
Make a small mouthpiece out of a filter cardboard or an activated carbon filter and place it at the end of the paper. This gives the joint stability and prevents plant residue from getting into your mouth.
Rotate filter paper? Here's how:
1. Take a filter paper in your hand.
###Now we continue with the joint###
Concentrate on the side with the filter. Use your fingers to press the paper together a little more tightly at this point so that the filter stays securely in place. Then start rolling the paper around the filter. You do this by slowly rolling the paper from bottom to top with your thumb and index finger. Make sure that the paper is tight but not too tight so that the joint can burn evenly at the end. Use the thumb that is closer to the filter (in the example, the right thumb) to push the bottom edge of the paper between the filter and the top edge of the paper. Make sure that the beginning is tight so that you roll a solid base for a stable joint.
Lick the adhesive edge of the paper lightly and press it gently to close the joint. Your base is now ready.
Pack the end of the joint to make it more compact. Rolling it compactly will ensure an even burn.

Activated carbon filters help reduce pollutants and provide a particularly gentle smoking experience.
Humidity of cannabis : Is your cannabis too dry? Then it burns faster and unevenly. If it is too moist, the joint can go out. The right consistency is crucial.
Alternatives to tobacco blends : Instead of tobacco, there are also herbal bases like damiana or sage, which provide a mild taste, or you can roll a pure cannabis joint if pure taste is most important to you.
Activated carbon filters : For a particularly smooth experience, activated carbon filters are highly recommended when adding tobacco. They help to improve the quality of the smoke by filtering out harmful substances.
What makes a good joint?
A good joint burns evenly, has the right mix ratio and is rolled in such a way that neither too much air gets through nor the mixture is too tight.
How much cannabis should be in a joint?
For beginners, about 0.3 to 0.5 grams is enough. More experienced users can increase the amount as desired, but should be careful not to roll the joint too tightly.
Rolling a joint is a mixture of art and technique that requires patience and practice. With the right papers , a good mixing ratio and one activated carbon filter you can get the most out of your joint.
There are many methods and other approaches that may make it easier for you.
