We show you how we germinate cannabis seeds
1st germination step
moisten cotton pads
Lightly moisten two cotton pads with water and place the cannabis seeds between the pads.
2nd germination step
Close the zip bag
Place the moist cotton pads with the cannabis seeds in a zip bag and close it 75% (25% remain open).
3rd germination step
Select storage location
Place the zip bag in a warm, dark place . Check after 1-3 days to see if a small white root is visible.
4th germination step
Planting hemp seeds
Once the root is visible, you can plant the cannabis seeds in the soil - about 1 cm deep. Just moisten the soil and do not water (as this could wash the seeds through the soil).

Planting Cannabis Seeds | Here's How!
- Choosing seeds: Make sure the seeds are firm, dark brown and of good quality.
- Planting depth: Place the seeds about 1 to 2 cm deep into the substrate.
- Substrate: Use loose, well-aerated soil or special growing substrate.
- Watering: Keep the substrate moist but not wet. Too much water can suffocate the seeds.
- Temperature and light: Maintain a constant temperature of 22-25 °C and little light during the first few days after planting.
- Patience: Germination can take a few days to a week. Keep conditions consistent to ensure the best start for your plants.

Important points for seed germination

- Keep seeds evenly moist , but not wet, to avoid rot.
- Ideal: Moisten with a spray bottle.

Darkness:
- Many seeds germinate better in the dark – protect them with a cover if necessary.
- Some seeds require light, check this beforehand.

Temperature:
- Constantly warm temperatures between 20-25 °C are ideal.
- No extreme fluctuations.

Humidity:
- Promote a warm, humid climate (e.g. by covering with foil or a lid), but plan for regular ventilation to prevent mold growth.

Substrate:
- Use loose, well-drained germination substrate.
- Do not plant too deep – rule of thumb: maximum 1-2 times the seed size.

Regular checks:
- Check daily to ensure optimal conditions.
- Immediately and carefully place germinating seeds into the light.
